Coordination center for work with the public and communities with Nova Kakhovka society of cultural heritage protection organized a master class “Stone embroidery” for the residents of the shelter Support & Protection Center UA.
The masters taught the residents how to carve from raw tink. Children and adults created stone embroideries from the unique sketches of the monumetal artist Hryhoriy Dovzhenko.
We will emphasize that creative work contributes to social adaptation and psychological rehabilitation. Creativity helps to cope with difficult emotions faster, because it distracts from thoughts that can cause stress, and in the case of residents of the shelter, it reminds them what they experienced before evacuation.
Our foundation tries to provide the best conditions so that the residents of the shelter feel comfortable after evacuation from the front-line areas.
