Maksim
Our youngest activist. Yes, yes! These are the most accurate words about him!
A little bit of biography, but that’s it! Because his incredible energy can only be understood when you meet him in person.
He was born and raised in the Kherson region, then moved to Kherson to study and stayed there.
He lived in the regional center for 4 years, graduated as an electric welder and worked until the war broke out in the country.
He worked in his specialty: he welded barges, boat components, and assembled electrical panels.
8 months of unbearable occupation. But after waiting for the liberation of Kherson, he immediately took the opportunity to evacuate with his family, which was organized by our foundation. That’s where he met our director Serhiy and immediately joined the aid.
When he learned about one of our projects, he realized that he had found like-minded people, people with big hearts who would help others no matter what.
“Helping each other without profit”: this is the first impression of our team of volunteers.
He has been with the Voznytsky Foundation since the November of 2022.
During the work, he took his time to familiarize with many previously unknown construction specifics. Now he knows a lot of things that will be useful in the work of a volunteer.
There were days without normal sleep and food, he was completely devoted to the project, again, he is a guy of great spirit and energy.
Currently, he is working on the “Mobile Hospital Unit” project, which is what impressed him at the beginning and what made him stay with the team.
He is very modest, and you can learn about many other good deeds of his only by talking to him personally.
We can assure you of his strong spirit and love for our country and Ukrainians, you will feel it immediately from his first warm look!
