Volodymyr
Volodymyr and his wife were in Melitopol at the beginning of the full-scale war, there they spent more than a month under occupation. They left only in April: his wife went to Lviv and Volodymyr stayed in Nikopol and joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as he had already defended the country until 2018.
After being discharged from military service, Volodymyr came to Lviv to visit his wife and immediately joined the S&P team. It was then that we were renovating the premises that later became our shelter for IDPs.
Volodymyr has no plans for the future after the war, but he says he will definitely go to the sea, as he is used to seeing it every day. He admits that sometimes he feels tired, but then he takes on more work to keep up the pace, because he realizes how many people he is helping.
