Along with autumn, the season of acute respiratory infections has begun. The residents of our shelter are mostly mothers with children and the elderly, who belong to vulnerable groups, so we do our best to strengthen their immunity and protect them from viruses.
Every resident can get antiviral medicines from the receptionist, which are especially important during the disease season.
In addition, we provide internally displaced persons with information support on family doctors they can contact and, if necessary, sign a declaration to ensure that they are always provided with proper medical care in the new city.
We are trying to improve the lives of our residents in every way possible and are sincerely grateful to the Faroe Islands government for providing seasonal medicines!
