Nearly a year after its opening on June 6, 2023, the number of residents in the shelter has surpassed two thousand. These are internally displaced persons who were forced to leave the Donetsk, Luhansk, Kharkiv, Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, Sumy, and Chernihiv regions due to the war.
Since the shelter began operating, we have accommodated 850 people aged 18 and over, 500 people aged 60 and over, 650 children, 150 people with disabilities, and 15 critically ill individuals. Our doors are also open to our small friends. Around a hundred animals have found a place in the shelter, including large and small dogs, cats, parrots, hamsters, and a turtle.
During this year of activity, we have found genuine support in our partners, who continue to help us and all Ukrainians in need. We are sincerely grateful to everyone who has joined this important cause!
